Classes vs Masses

Who came up with definitions for the above two words  vis a vis movies? You either like a movie or you do not! It is after all a question of an individual’s taste and preference. Rajni fans = masses, Kamal fans = classes, SRK fans = masses, amir fans = classes? What the heck…even the supposedly brilliant actor Aamir acted in two movies that were plain bull shit…Fanaa…ghajini…Mela anyone? SRK did a movie called Swades. Even Kamal does regular Crazy mohan type comedy movies. Reverberates of class does it? To me only Hey Ram, or Devarmagan, Nayagan and to an extent Dasavatharam absolutely stand out from his movies. Either a movie is plain bull shit according to the viewers perspective…or it is not. This definition that some of the audience have classy sophisticated movie taste and some do not can also be added to that plain bull shite bin!
